Avatar Logistics develop logistics solutions on the inland waterways. The company was founded in 2015 and is owned by the shipping companies, Erik Thun AB and VT Group Ltd.
In our service concept we cooperate with a number of reliable partners in our logistics network. In so doing retain a cost efficient and all-inclusive business philosophy with a local geographic presence. We combine personal service with flexible solutions in close partnership with our customers.

Avatar Logistics is part of the EMMA Extension project
EMMA Extension builds on the EMMA projects’ analyses, results and recommendations. Enhancing inland waterway transport (IWT) still is focused on and reflected in all activities of the extension project. EMMA Extension is the logical next step in further developing IWT services in Sweden, Poland and Lithuania as well as to support the uptake of newly developed river information services (RIS) in Germany. Thus, the project will increase the quality and sustainability of results.
The project is led by Port of Hamburg Marketing Reg. Assoc. (HHM) and brings together six further project partners from Finland, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden.
The project started 1st August 2019 (lifetime 18 months).
